How Barbados Free Press DECEIVES
Seasons Greetings to Bajan Patriots.
We at BFPE (Barbados Free Press Exposed) are VERY PLEASED to see the advent of this forum. We wish you good luck in all your efforts.
For several months now we have been warning Barbadians of exactly what you have mentioned in you welcome message... that Barbados Free Press is a FRAUDULENT blog devoted to spreading LIES about Barbados and committed to DECEIVING unsuspecting Bajans.
We welcome your arrival and as our Christmas gift to you and your readers we would like to share one of our articles about how BFP has been deceiving people.
Well done!
Seasons Greetings!
BFPE.
HOW BFP DECEIVES
A revelation of how the LIARS and FRAUDS at Barbados Free Press deceive visitors to their blog.
Barbados Free Press (BFP), despite its name and its claim, is a politically motivated blog which publishes false information on the internet about the country and people of Barbados and about the Barbados government in particular.
BFP’s greatest lie is the claim that they are champions of free speech on the internet and that they are fighting corruption in Barbados.
One of BFP’s most common tactics is to deceive their readers by posting false stories and presenting them as if they were true. In some cases, they have also provided download links to fake documents in order to make their stories seem more convincing, such as pdf file which they claimed to be Court File No. 07-0141 from the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.
Another common BFP tactic is to copy genuine news articles from the establised media in Barbados and post them on their blog with modified headlines and false information so that gullible readers are deceived into thinking that the article presented by BFP is the original one.
BFP deception extends beyond the articles posted on their blog. They also manipulate the comments posted on their blog in order to deceive visitors.
The first method of deceiving readers is by way of orchestration. The same BFP staff who post articles on the blog will use a variety of names and post comments to their own articles, thus attempting to create the impression that BFP enjoys support from independent readers. The comments posted by the BFP staff always seek to portray the country and the government of Barbados negatively, and regardless of the subject matter, they almost always target the same names from a number of prominent government ministers.
The second method of deceiving readers is by way of suppression. Any comments which expose false information posted by BFP are simply deleted and in most cases BFP adds filters to prevent any further similar comments from being made.
Comments are often held in moderation so that a screening process can be completed to detect and delete those which are considered in any way favourable to the country and the government of Barbados.
In cases where any unbiased comments do get past the filters and censors at BFP, they will usually be deleted with the excuse that BFP is again under attack from alleged “government operatives whose IP addresses have been traced to Barbados government offices”. This is simply another lie. We at BFPE realised this after BFP made the same false claim about government operatives after we posted a comment on BFP using a computer at a private residence connected to the internet via Cable and Wireless. It is noteworthy that while BFP often threatens to reveal the IP addresses and locations of these “government operatives”, they have never done so. The simple truth is, most government offices in Barbados connect to the internet using service providers such as Cable and Wireless, Sunbeach, etc. just like everybody else in Barbados. If BFP ever does publish any list of IP addresses coming from “government operatives”, there is no doubt whatsoever that it will all be completely false.
Another tactic of BFP is to report that government ministers made certain statements during news broadcasts in the established Barbados media, and that BFP has kept a recording of the statements. As usual, the alleged statements posted on BFP were never made, which is why BFP can never provide any of the claimed recordings on their blog.
As proud and patriotic Bajans, we at Barbados Free Press Exposed will not sit idly by and allow the good name of our beloved country and the reputations of hardworking Bajan citizens to continue to be dragged through the mud by those shameless cowards, hypocrites, liars and frauds at BFP. It is our public duty to make internet users aware of how the morally corrupt BFP strives to deceive its own readers.
Thank you.

Who to vote for?
You SURE dat de DLP got enuff people supporting dem?
Look at de polls? But den agen, de only polls dat really matter is de one on 15 January 2008.
Look at de lil small crowds in Heroes Square. Dah doan inspire much confidence to me. And when I read on de blogs from one idiot about how the crowd was 15,000 and 20,000 it make me feel like either somebody in de DLP camp getting desperate, or dah is uh B pretending tuh be a D. Pun dis internet yuh doan really know who is who, except fuh yuhself!
All I can tell yuh is... I doan know who gine win. De BLP has been running tings fuh four years now, and I en got nuh problem wid wuh I see goin on in de country. But four years is uh long time and sometimes it is good tuh change tings. But at de same time, when I look at de Dems... I does really wondah if it is wise to vote fuh change at this time. I en too sure bout dat. Sometimes I feel I MIGHT gi de Bees one more term and one more term only, until the Dees get themselves more settled.
Only ting I would be worried about is... is it wise tuh give anybody four straight terms in office? We really got tuh tink carefully bout dis one.
Undecided.
